Thanks to my friend Richard for this one on Google Search Trends. I am glad to see that Google is finding ways to release some of its search information through various products. Below is the graph for the keyword “Iraq”, and the boxes A-F indicate certain media articles or news casts.
This one is very interesting to me because I have been working on something very similar. The idea here is that you can “see” the performance history of any keyword, and identify trends and other factors that effect keyword performance.
I have currently have 21 metrics that I have linked to keyword performance that I am currently tracking. Google has listed one metric here “news” that they have linked to keyword performance. This is very interesting and very good data for those in my area of research. Thanks Google for your Google Search Trends and thanks Richard.
